A couple of months ago Jailbreaking your iPhone - the process of modifying it to allow it to run applications not found in Apple's App Store - was a pain in the butt, a little risky, and somewhat difficult to do without a small level of technical knowhow. Thanks to one amazingly talented developer, one George Hotz (aka GeoHot), the process is fast, easy, and takes all the skill required in clicking a button. Let's walk through the process, shall we?

If you're anything like me, you hate Twitter spammers. This kind of thing is especially troubling when you think you have a new follower and soon discover that it is not a real person following you, but a pornbot that wants to sucker you into clicking a link. Fortuntely, it is very easy to spot porn spam if you know what to look for.

After watching Paranormal Activity, I had a very difficult time determining if this was the scariest movie I had ever seen. Surely it could not be. This movie? With its $11,000 budget? With its total lack of gore? With its cast that could be counted on one hand? (Note: there are no spoilers in this review)
I have yet to answer this question, but that isn't important. What matters is that it sent shivers down my spine for several minutes after I had watched it, and it made me realize that no film has ever inspired any real fear in me. So obviously I enjoyed this film, but let's see if we can't apprehend a few of the reasons it worked so well.
